We know Fridays are for winding down… unless you're part of a royal scandal or a family WhatsApp group gone rogue.
Grab your chai, avoid replying to your mom’s “when are you getting married?” texts, and dive in.

📌 Meghan Markle’s bath salts are causing “burns”
So, things have taken a wild turn in Meghan Markle’s wellness world.
A woman named Robin Patrick is threatening to sue Meghan for $10 million over a homemade bath salt recipe featured in Meghan’s Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan.’
The recipe, which includes Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, arnica oil, and lavender oil, was part of a sweet on-screen gift Meghan made for her makeup artist. But for Patrick, it allegedly turned into a nightmare.
Patrick, who is diabetic, said she tried out the DIY bath soak at home. But instead of relaxation, she claims it gave her "catastrophic burns."
According to her, as soon as the water touched her skin, especially her legs and backside, she felt intense burning. Stirring the water with her hand made things worse, leaving her with painful sores, ulcers, and burns that haven’t healed.
She even tried Gold Bond lotion and showering, but no relief. She says the discomfort has disrupted her daily life, and she’s extremely worried about infections, given her autoimmune condition.
Now she wants justice and cash.
Patrick says if she doesn’t get a financial settlement, she’ll take legal action demanding at least $75,000 in medical expenses, and up to $10 million from Meghan, Netflix, and the Sussexes’ Archewell Productions. She’s accusing them of being reckless and endangering public safety.
But Meghan’s lawyer isn’t having it.
He says Patrick has no legal case, arguing that people with medical conditions, like diabetes, should know the risks of using Epsom salts. So far, there’s been no official comment from Meghan or Netflix.
📌 Now, about that family drama. You don’t wanna miss this story…
Everyone has their in-law horror stories but the one a Reddit user recently shared might top them all.
It began like a fairy tale.
She met Craig (her husband) during a vacation, and within two months, they were married in a quiet courthouse ceremony.
Neither had met the other’s family before tying the knot. Her family quickly grew fond of Craig, but his side, especially his mother, Betsy, remained a mystery until six months into the marriage.
When she finally met Craig’s family, Betsy was cold and eerily quiet.
Then came the strange pattern: every time they visited, she’d get violently ill, nausea, vomiting, even days spent bedridden.
Craig dismissed it as a possible food allergy. Still, the Redditor grew suspicious, especially when she prepared her own meal during one visit and still got sick, after sipping wine she had left unattended.
Determined to find the truth, she devised a test. On their next visit, they brought pizzas and, when the food was left unattended, she secretly switched plates with Craig.
He ended up so ill that they had to pull over multiple times on the drive home. When she confessed what she’d done, Craig exploded in a terrifying rage, threw her across the room, prompting her to flee without shoes.
Two days later, she got a call from the police: Craig had broken into his mother’s home with a knife. Betsy shot him in self-defense.
The twist?
Craig had been married before. His first wife had died in a mysterious hiking accident, and Craig had received a hefty life insurance payout. Betsy had long suspected her son of murder and had poisoned her daughter-in-law not out of malice, but to keep her away from Craig during secluded outings.
Later, the Redditor discovered that Craig had secretly taken out life insurance policies on her. In the end, she didn’t press charges against Betsy. In fact, she still visits her from time to time, for the cooking, and the closure.
