Hey you, happy Tuesday!
Hope your week’s off to a solid start, and if not, at least you’ve made it to the part where we talk about cartoon conspiracies and fake predictions.
So, buckle up…
📌 So, is it a rumor about Trump, or there’s some truth?
Over the years, The Simpsons has accidentally (and weirdly) become a pop culture oracle. From Donald Trump’s presidency to the pandemic, the long-running animated show has predicted some pretty major moments.
So when a video started circulating claiming the show predicted Trump’s death on April 12, 2025, people naturally freaked out.
The clip? A Simpson-ified Trump lying in a casket, timestamp and all. Spooky, right?
Well, not exactly.
Turns out, it’s not from any actual episode. The scene was generated using AI. In fact, executive producer Matt Selman has said there’s no episode that predicts Trump’s death - never has been.
This isn’t even the first time this rumor popped up. It reared its head after the July 2024 assassination attempt on Trump. Just like now, people took AI-generated content at face value and ran with it.
Here’s the thing: The Simpsons has been on air for over 30 years. When you make that many jokes and hypothetical futures, some are bound to hit the mark. But let’s not crown it as the Nostradamus of Springfield.
📌 Another prediction, but this maybe REAL
We’ve all heard of Nostradamus and Baba Vanga - mystics whose predictions sent chills down our spines. But what if I told you the latest name to join that list isn't a psychic, but a manga artist from Japan?
Meet Ryo Tatsuki - a former comic creator who claims her dreams reveal future disasters. Since the 1980s, she's been jotting them down, and in 1999, published a manga titled The Future I Saw. Many brushed it off as fiction… until her dreams started coming true.
Here’s the eerie part:
In 1991, she dreamt of Freddie Mercury just months before his death.
In 1995, she predicted the massive Kobe earthquake that killed over 6,000 people.
And in 2011? She foresaw a major disaster in March - right before the Tohoku earthquake, tsunami, and the Fukushima nuclear crisis.
Fast forward to now, and Tatsuki has dropped a new bombshell:
A mega-tsunami could strike Japan and its neighbours in July 2025.
She dreamt of a boiling sea south of Japan, huge bubbles rising - possibly hinting at an underwater volcanic eruption.
The tsunami she foresaw? Three times bigger than the 2011 disaster.
The area? A diamond-shaped region covering Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
She even saw dragon-like shapes moving toward the area: a vision she later matched with undersea formations near Hawaii.
Japan is in a high-risk seismic zone - The Pacific Ring of Fire. Experts say the Nankai Trough could trigger a tsunami over 30 metres high, just like Tatsuki’s prediction.
