Hey guys,
Welcome to our 3rd edition! We loved how you showed support for President Joe Biden via our newsletter yesterday. That also inspired us to bring forth such amazing content for you. But, before we start today, it’s time for the task for the day:
📌 Incorporate at least 20 minutes of physical activity into your routine. It could be a walk, jog, yoga, or any form of exercise you enjoy.
Now, let’s talk about the world…
🌐 Global Updates
While Vice President Kamala Harris is still trending, these events need your attention more 👇
UAE has arrested 57 Bangladeshis for protesting against their country's government.
Andy Murray is retiring
A shark just tested positive for cocaine
😣 Elon Musk’s son is DEAD
(not really, thank God!)
During a chat with Dr. Jordan Peterson, Musk revealed he was duped into giving his consent for his child, Xavier (now Vivian Jenna Wilson), to start puberty blockers. Apparently, he was tricked into thinking it was a life-saving measure, only to later find out it was more like a chemical castration.
Musk’s reaction? He claims the “woke mind virus” figuratively killed his son, Xavier. Talk about a dramatic revelation! He even went so far as to say, “I lost my son, essentially.”
👀 BTW, we just checked what’s up in the market. And we just uncovered…
A startup that started from a bathroom that managed to raise $2.3 MILLION!
Eric Zhu turned his high school bathroom into the ultimate startup hub, launching ‘Aviato’ while strategically avoiding math class (lol)
But how do we explain ‘Aviato’ to you? Umm…Think of it as a glorified data stalker—it tracks everything from funding rounds to which coffee shops’ top engineers are currently haunting.
Now in San Francisco, Zhu’s juggling high school online (ya, he got thrown out 🥲) and plotting world domination. His mission? Overthrow PitchBook and make private market data not just useful, but downright exciting!
🥳 Yes! Ethereum ETFs are here
The SEC just dropped the mic with its final approval for spot Ethereum ETFs on July 22, and the funds are now live on their own shiny web pages. These bad boys started trading when the US markets opened at 9:30 AM ET on July 23.
But, why is Bitcoin having a party?
Bitcoin ETFs have been swimming in a sea of cash—$1 billion, to be exact!
Why? Because investors are getting hyped for the Ethereum ETF launch. On July 19, Bitcoin ETFs raked in a cool $427.2 million, thanks to heavyweights like BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust and Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust.
The cash flow didn’t stop there; by July 22, inflows surged to $533.6 million. Total spot Bitcoin ETF inflows for 2024 have now hit a jaw-dropping $17.585 BILLION!!!
🎀 Pookie Behavior
You can’t skip this story that’s going VIRAL on the internet.
After his girlfriend's luggage decided to embark on a solo adventure, this man (Pieter Levels) didn’t just write a complaint letter—he built a website! Talking about true love? Enter "Luggage Losers," his quirky solution to track down the airlines that are notorious for losing bags.
Pieter’s mission? To save us from the airlines that seem to think luggage is a suggestion, not a requirement. His site dishes out real-time data on which airlines are most likely to misplace your stuff.
And these are the top 10 airlines that are topping his list 👇 Yikes!
Woah…that was a LOT of info for today. But, we bet the stories kept you hooked till the last! So, let’s meet again tomorrow 👋 Till then, stay curious!
