Welcome to Monday, the day that feels like a speed bump in the highway of life.
But don’t worry, I’m here to make it slightly less painful (and maybe even interesting).
Today’s edition has a mix of shocking, bizarre, and oddly useful stories, because why start the week any other way?
Buckle up, sip that coffee, and let’s dive in.
📌 The horrific tale of the mother who crushed her son to death by sitting on him for "acting up"
A tragic incident in Michigan left a 10-year-old boy, Dakota Stevens, dead after his 340-pound foster mom, Jennifer Wilson, sat on him for five minutes as punishment.
Wilson claimed Dakota had run away earlier that day and was misbehaving when she retrieved him. When he threw himself onto the lawn, she sat on him while calling his caseworker, ignoring his desperate screams until he stopped moving.
Believing he was faking, Wilson didn’t react until she noticed his pale eyelids. Disturbing Ring camera footage reportedly shows her sitting on his head and neck, his cries fading as he suffocated.
Realizing the horror of what she had done, she screamed his name and told another child to call 911.
Dakota was airlifted to a hospital but never regained consciousness. He was taken off life support two days later, just a month after being placed in Wilson’s care.
Wilson now faces up to six years in prison. Her foster license has been suspended and is under review for permanent revocation.
📌 London’s famous Tower Bridge shuts down
It has been closed after a man climbed up the landmark and perched on its railings, shocking onlookers. Photos and videos online show crowds gathered, watching as the man, wearing a hooded top, balanced on the iconic London crossing.

📌 BTW, we finally know Lady Gaga’s full proposal story
Lady Gaga always finds ways to surprise and delight her fans, and ahead of her upcoming album Mayhem, she hosted a fans-only press conference where she shared a sweet detail about her engagement to venture capitalist Michael Polansky.
Gaga revealed that the song Blade of Grass was inspired by Polansky’s proposal. “He once asked me how he should propose, and I told him he could just wrap a blade of grass around my finger,” she said.
Turns out, he actually did, though he also gave her a proper engagement ring.
Their engagement was accidentally confirmed when Gaga was caught on TikTok introducing Polansky as her fiancé to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
📌 Also, Gen Z is ditching Ivy League in favor of this university
MIT has officially dethroned Harvard as the top dream school for students in 2025.
But parents? They’re rooting for Princeton.
While both sides may debate their No. 1 pick, their top five choices, MIT, Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale, aren’t too different.
Getting in, though, is another story.
MIT’s acceptance rate has dropped from 16% to 4.5% over the years, while Princeton’s sits at just 4%. No surprise that 73% of students and parents report “high” or “very high” admissions stress.
And then there’s the cost.
With MIT and Princeton nearing six-figure annual price tags, financial aid is a must, with 98% of families planning to apply.
📌 Lastly, I have found a cheaper alternative of botox for you
Letybo, a popular Korean neuromodulator known as Botulax, has officially arrived in the U.S. after receiving FDA approval for treating glabellar lines (the "11s" between the brows).
Already a hit in Korea, where it’s used in combination with fillers and skin boosters, Letybo is now emerging as a competitor to Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, and others.
Some claim Letybo works faster, delivering results within days, but experts remain skeptical, noting that most neuromodulators take similar amounts of time to kick in.
Longevity-wise, Letybo is expected to last around three to four months, much like Botox.
One of Letybo’s biggest advantages? Cost.
In Korea, it’s significantly cheaper than Botox, and in the U.S., it may be priced at $9 to $12 per unit, potentially making it a more affordable option.
