Hey, hey!
Social media is in overdrive after a cryptic video of Lil Nas X had fans spiraling. We break down what actually happened, what’s being said (and not said), and why the internet can’t stop talking about it.
So, let’s dive into the truth...
📌 So, why was Lil Nas X rushed to the hospital?
The rapper just gave fans a surprising and slightly worrying health update.
On Monday, the rapper shared a video showing that he had partially lost control of the right side of his face.
Wearing a hospital gown and a Von Dutch cap, he tried to smile, but the right side stayed frozen. “This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way,” he said, laughing through the strangeness. “What the f***? I can’t even laugh right now, bro!”
Despite the unsettling moment, Nas was in good spirits. A few hours later, he posted another video showing both sides of his face and said, “We normal over here. We get crazy over here.”
He added, “I’m so cooked,” a slangy way of saying he’s feeling totally exhausted — but still himself.
He reassured fans not to panic: “Guys I am OK!! Stop being sad for me! Shake ur a** for me instead!”
Later, he followed up with a hospital selfie, joking, “Imma look funny for a lil but but that’s it.”
📌 Btw, did you know this about your nails?
A TikTok video by creator Ashley Shim (@ashleyy.shim) blew up recently after she claimed that short nails signal confidence and power.
Dubbed the “short nail theory,” her hot take racked up 2.1 million views and over 125K likes, igniting a fiery debate on nail length, beauty standards, and even class dynamics.
Shim posted from the streets of NYC, saying women with short nails “don’t care” and are “living their best life.” Many users agreed, citing practicality like jobs, hobbies, and hygiene, as reasons for keeping nails short.
Comments like “short nails = boss woman” filled the thread. Even Lisa Rinna chimed in with approval.
But, then came the bigger convo: nails as social commentary. Historically, long nails signaled wealth and leisure. Some commenters even called long nails “patriarchy-approved.”
In the end, Shim (and most commenters) agreed: baddie energy doesn’t come from your nail length, it comes from how you own it.
📌 Oh, and Katy Perry, Jeff Bezos’s wife, and a few other women just went to space only to get HATE
As part of Blue Origin’s first all-female space crew, Perry joined Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, and other notable women for an 11-minute trip that included weightlessness and stunning views of Earth.
Perry called it a “confirmation from the heavens.” It was framed as a win for women in aerospace… but opinions on the ground were a little less starry-eyed.
Olivia Munn slammed the flight as “gluttonous,” Amy Schumer joked it meant nothing to her, and Olivia Wilde said it only bought “good memes.”
In defense, Gayle King said critics “don’t really understand” the mission, and Sanchez welcomed skeptics to see it for themselves.
However, controversy followed them beyond orbit. Sanchez is currently in a legal battle with the family of 85-year-old disabled vet Carl Westcott, who claims she exploited him into selling his $15 million mansion. His son responded to her space trip saying, “maybe it’ll make her more compassionate.”
Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkowski slammed the space mission in a fiery rant that went viral, calling the trip “end time s--t” and slamming Blue Origin for environmental hypocrisy. She asked: “You care about Mother Earth... but launch yourself into space?”
