Happy Monday, guys…
While your coffee kicks in and the existential dread simmers gently in the background, we’ve got your brain food served hot.
Today’s headline scoop: Is Joe Biden really sick?
Is it just political theatre, age catching up, or something the press won’t say out loud?
Also inside: a few chuckles, some eyebrow-raising facts, and your usual shot of "oh damn, I didn’t know that."
Let’s start the week a little smarter…
📌 No body is convinced that Biden’s cancer diagnosis in real
The news of Joe Biden’s aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis sent MAGA influencers and conservative pundits into a frenzy, with accusations of a “cover-up” flying.
Donald Trump Jr. led the charge, asking, “How did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another cover-up???” - all while also tweeting he “agreed 100%” with a post wishing Biden a speedy recovery.
Others were less diplomatic.
Right-wing personality Benny Johnson called it “the most dangerous cover-up in the history of the presidency,” while Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson claimed Biden’s physician prioritized politics over care.
Theories ranged from purposeful deception to plans of installing Kamala Harris as president.
But not all voices in the conservative camp joined the outrage.
Donald Trump struck a rare moment of grace: “Melania and I... wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”
Even Marjorie Taylor Greene chimed in with empathy, saying, “Cancer is truly awful.”
But…
Some, like Piers Morgan, pushed back against the chaos: “Show some bloody respect.”
Meghan McCain echoed that sentiment, urging her own side to back off: “Let the Biden family be in peace.”
📌 BTW, Diddy is paying protesters $20/hour to support him
A viral TikTok by user @emilieknowseverything claimed that people were being offered $20 an hour or even $60 flat to wear “Free Diddy” shirts and stand outside the New York courthouse where Combs is currently on trial.
One woman in the video said she was offered money but declined, noting, “He told me that it’s for a ‘Diddy coin,’ so I’m not really sure what that is.”
Whether it’s a crypto stunt or a desperate PR move, the backlash was swift.
50 Cent, never one to hold back, called it “diabolical,” but added cheekily, “$20 a hour ain’t bad. I might go throw that on for an hour tomorrow. LOL.”
The timing couldn’t be worse as Combs is facing serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and abuse allegations made public by singer Cassie Ventura.
Prosecutors allege he ran a criminal network under the guise of his music empire since 2008. He’s pled not guilty, but with courtroom drama spilling into TikTok and rap rivalries, this trial is anything but ordinary.
📌 Oh, and China is building an AI supercomputer in space
China just launched the first 12 satellites of a whopping 2,800-satellite plan, and no, they’re not your average weather-watching machines.
These are part of ADA Space’s ambitious “Star Compute” program, and they’re designed to act like an orbital AI supercomputer. Think of it as ChatGPT, but just a lot better.
Each satellite houses an 8-billion parameter AI model and can process 744 tera operations per second (TOPS). Together, these 12 can already hit 5 peta operations per second (POPS).
The end goal? A satellite swarm pulling off 1,000 POPS. For comparison, a Microsoft Copilot PC runs on just 40 TOPS, so yeah, space is getting real smart, real fast.
These satellites chat with each other via laser links at 100Gbps, hold 30TB of shared storage, and can create 3D digital twin data for disaster response, gaming, and even tourism.
Why not just beam this data to Earth? Because less than 10% of satellite data ever makes it down due to bandwidth issues. Processing it in orbit saves time, power, and emissions.
The US and Europe might follow soon.
📌 Did you know? Politicians use perfume to control you
French President Emmanuel Macron reportedly douses himself in industrial levels of Dior Sauvage, so much so that his aides smell him before they see him. But this isn't just a quirk.
Scent, like tailored suits or photo ops with rolled-up sleeves, is another subtle flex in the political playbook.
Science backs it up: our sense of smell is directly tied to memory and emotion, making it a powerful tool for influence.
Studies show that 75% of emotions are triggered by smell, far more than by sight or sound.
Leaders from Louis XVI to Trump (whose Victory 47 cologne sells for a wild $199.99) have used fragrance not just as personal expression but as propaganda.
Macron’s choice of Dior also hints at a deeper strategy. LVMH, Dior’s parent company, is considered an arm of French soft power. So, this isn’t just about smelling good, it’s about controlling the room before he even enters it.
