Hey-lo guys! Good morning, and welcome back to your favorite newsletter of all time 😉 We’re here to share another set of interesting stories.
But before we get started, let’s give you a task for the day:
📌 Spend 20-30 minutes organizing your desk or digital files
Clutter, whether physical or digital, can be distracting. By organizing your space, you eliminate visual noise that can pull your attention away from your tasks, making it easier to concentrate on what’s important. Moreover, a tidy workspace means you’ll spend less time searching for items or files you need, allowing you to work more efficiently. When everything has a designated place, you can quickly find what you're looking for.
The act of tidying up can also give you a small, quick win to start your day. This sense of accomplishment can set a positive tone and build momentum, motivating you to tackle more significant tasks.
So, now, let’s get started…
You can Now Date on Google Forms!
A little over a month ago, a curious trend popped up on Facebook that’s worth chatting about. Amid the usual engagement announcements and baby photos, there was a sponsored ad from a 33-year-old New Yorker. He was pretty straightforward, saying he was “33 years old, 6’3”, and looking for a relationship.” Intrigued by this bold move, I clicked on the ad. Instead of a typical dating profile, I was led to a Google Form where he shared details about his fitness, family, religion, politics, favorite podcasts, and even his most surreal childhood memories.
It’s definitely an unconventional approach to finding love. By using targeted social media ads, he’s cutting out the middleman of dating apps and going straight to the source—directly to potential matches through a simple Google Form. It’s a unique way to stand out, and in a world where traditional dating methods can feel a bit repetitive, this bold move is catching attention.
And this isn’t an isolated incident. There’s been a growing trend of people using public and digital platforms in creative ways to find romance. For instance, some individuals have turned to online ads or even physical flyers to find their perfect match. It’s a strategy that makes sense when you consider the ability to target specific demographics and locations with social media.
BTW, Did You Sleep This Weekend?
Recent research has found that catching up on missed sleep over the weekend might actually help reduce your risk of heart disease.
The researchers looked at information from 90,903 adults and found that those who were sleep-deprived during the week—and then made up for it with extra sleep on the weekends—had a 19% lower chance of developing heart disease compared to those who didn’t catch up on sleep. If you’re one of those people who loses sleep during the week and then tries to catch up on weekends, you might be doing something good for your heart! (More)

On Monday, Turkish nationalists attacked U.S. Marines stationed on the USS Wasp in Izmir, Turkey. The assailants, affiliated with the Youth Union of Turkey linked to the nationalist Vatan Party, physically assaulted the Marines, who were identified as soldiers in reports. Video footage shows the Marines in civilian clothing being restrained and attacked, with one assailant throwing a plastic bag over a victim's head. The attackers chanted anti-American slogans. Turkish authorities arrested 15 individuals involved in the attack. The U.S. Embassy confirmed the Marines were safe and thanked Turkish authorities for their prompt response. The Youth Union of Turkey defended the attack, criticizing U.S. support for Israel. (More)
Audi Boss Got Killed
Fabrizio Longo, 62, the managing director of Audi's operations in Italy, died in a tragic climbing accident on Sunday. Longo, an avid mountaineer, fell 10,000 feet while ascending the Cima Payer in the Adamello mountains, located just a few miles from the Italian-Swiss border. Despite the efforts of rescue teams, who were alerted by a fellow climber who witnessed the fall, Longo was found deceased about 700 feet inside a gorge.
Longo, who had led Audi's Italian division since 2013, was renowned for his expertise in both the automotive industry and winter sports. Prior to his role at Audi, he began his career with Fiat in 1987, later moving to Lancia before joining Audi. His contributions to Audi were marked by significant success, maintaining the brand's leadership in the premium segment for over a decade.
Prostitutes Are Taking Over New York City
In Jackson Heights, Roosevelt Avenue near 91st Street has seen a significant rise in visible sex work. The number of sex workers on the street has doubled, with their presence becoming increasingly brazen. They now openly solicit clients in broad daylight and frequent makeshift brothels set up in local apartments.
Local business owners and residents describe the situation as out of control, with sex workers creating a significant nuisance. Store owners complain about having to navigate around them, and some even report that sex workers are aggressively blocking entrances to businesses. This has led to growing frustration among shopkeepers and residents alike, who note that their previous complaints and attempts to address the issue have largely gone unheeded.
Merchants and locals also say that these sex workers are not just an inconvenience but a sign of a broader breakdown in law enforcement and community standards. The presence of illegal sex work has reportedly become so entrenched that it feels like a permanent fixture in the neighborhood. Despite multiple police raids and efforts to clean up the area, the sex workers quickly return, demonstrating the limited impact of law enforcement actions.
So, that’s it for today. Let’s meet again tomorrow 👋 Till then, stay curious, and stay productive!
