Hello everyone!
Welcome to another day of curious discoveries and unexpected twists!
We’re kicking things off with some incredible news that could change the future of cancer treatment forever!
But that's just the beginning. Stick around, because today’s edition is packed with stories that’ll surprise you, make you think, and maybe even leave you a little speechless.
Ready? Let’s dive in!
📌 This treatment made a woman cancer-free!
Eighteen years ago, a young girl battling neuroblastoma received a pioneering CAR T-cell therapy, and she’s been cancer-free ever since, with no further treatment.
This therapy, which reprograms T-cells to hunt down cancer, has worked wonders for blood cancers, but its success in solid tumors has been uncertain.

In a trial of 19 children, 12 sadly didn’t make it, but seven survived beyond seven years.
Of those, two had active cancer at the time of treatment; one stopped follow-ups after eight years, but the other? She’s thriving, even having two healthy pregnancies.
This marks the longest-known remission after CAR T-cell therapy for a solid tumor, giving researchers hope for future breakthroughs.
📌 This woman killed 3 people just by feeding them cake
Deise Moura dos Anjos, 42, was found dead in her jail cell in Brazil after being accused of poisoning three relatives with an arsenic-laced Christmas cake.

The cake, with arsenic levels 2,700 times above the legal limit, killed Tatiana Denize Silva dos Anjos, Maida Berenice Flores da Silva, and Neuza Denize Silva dos Anjos, while three others survived.
Deise, who had been in custody since January, denied any involvement, even though she had researched and bought the poison multiple times.
The cake was made by her mother-in-law, Zeli dos Anjos, who survived along with a few others.
The tragedy led police to reopen an investigation into the suspicious death of Zeli’s late husband, whose body showed signs of arsenic poisoning.
Just a day before her death, Deise’s husband filed for divorce. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of her death.
📌 Doctors removed 63 STONES from this woman's stomach
A 92-year-old woman, Şerife Ay, found herself in a life-threatening situation after swallowing 28 date seeds and 35 olive pits over time.
These seeds formed a mass in her digestive system, and when one of the stones caused a blockage in her small intestine, it led to a hole in the organ and tissue decay.
Thankfully, doctors at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Hospital performed emergency surgery and removed the seeds, stones, and even five large rock-like masses.
Şerife, who had unknowingly swallowed the pits for years, is lucky to have sought medical help just in time.
This rare condition, known as a bezoar, affects only 0.07-0.4% of people, and it's a reminder to always opt for pitted olives!
📌 Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s relationship was ARRANGED!!
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's love story started over a decade ago, all thanks to Selena’s mom, Mandy Teefey, who played matchmaker.
Selena was around 16 or 17 when she first met Benny, right as he was becoming famous and she wasn’t a singer yet.
Benny shared, “Her mom set up a meeting between the two of us,” and they were just friends at first.
But as Selena admitted, “I liked him before he liked me.”
It didn’t take long for Benny to realize, “This is my wife,” and by their second date, he was already telling his mom, “This is the girl I’m going to marry.”
Fast forward to December 2024, when the couple got engaged, and Benny joked, "How did we not figure this out sooner?"
📌 Egypt wants to build a new Gaza
Egypt is putting together a plan to rebuild Gaza without forcing Palestinians out, which is a direct response to Trump’s controversial idea of depopulating the region.
Instead of removing people, Egypt wants to set up “secure areas” where Palestinians can live while international firms work on fixing Gaza’s infrastructure.
The plan counters Trump’s vision of turning Gaza into a luxury destination while leaving its residents behind.
Egypt’s proposal includes a three-phase rebuilding process, with safe zones for displaced people and a focus on rebuilding over five years.
There’s also a plan to create a new Palestinian administration, not aligned with Hamas or the Palestinian Authority, to manage the reconstruction.
This approach is getting support from European countries, and Arab nations are talking about how to fund it and make it work.
